Opening Ceremony of Poly Macau Inaugural Art Auction and 【6075】Poly Macau Hotel Art Fair

(7th January, 2016) “Poly Macau Inaugural Art Auction” and “【6075】Poly Macau Hotel Art Fair”, co-organized by Poly Auction Macau Ltd. (Poly Auction Macau) and Chiu Yeng Culture Ltd. (Chiu Yeng Culture), were launched at Regency Hotel Macau on 7th January. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Vice-Chairman of National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Mr. Tam Chon Weng, Secretary of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of Macao SAR; Ms. Xu Ting, Deputy Director of the Culture and Education Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, Vice-Chairman of the Subcommittee of Economy of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Vice-Chairman of the All-China General Chamber of Industry & Commerce; Dr. Ambrose So Shu Fai, Chief Executive Officer of SJM Holdings Limited and Chairman of Board of Directors of Scociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A.; Mr. Wang Xiaochao, Director of China Poly Group Corporation; Mr. Xue Ming and Mr. Zhang Xi, Deputy General Managers of China Poly Group Corporation; Mr. Jiang Yingchun, CEO of Poly Culture Group Corporation Limited and Chairman of Poly Auction; Ms. Wang Wei, CFO of Poly Culture Group Corporation Limited; Ms. Angela Leong and Mr. Zhao Xu, Director of Poly Auction Macau and Ms. Sabrina Ho, Director and CEO of Poly Auction Macau where joined by artists and guests from over the globe to participate in this celebrationof art and culture.

 

“Poly Macau Inaugural Art Auction” presents an array of masterpieces including works by legendary artists such as Chu Teh-chun, Wu Guanzhong, Lin Fengmian and Zhang Daqian, as well as fine pieces from contemporary artists including Takashi Murakami, Ding Yi, Xu Lei, Zhang Enli and Liu Wei. The auction also showcases Buddhist art, Qing Dynasty ceramics and other ancient works of art, as well as a dazzling selection of jewel.

 

“【6075】 Poly Macau Hotel Art Fair”, on the other hand, brings together 60 young artists born after 1975 from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. By incorporating their works and creative inspirations into the 60 guestrooms of the hotel, each personally designed by Ms. Sabrina Ho, they reinvented these living spaces and offered a unique artistic experience for the audience.
