The Fourth “Y Show” Macau Art Graduates Joint Exhibition

“Y Show”, the Macau Art Graduates Joint Exhibition, is organised by Chiu Yeng Cultural. It displays a collection of works from local and overseas art graduates and aims to provide an opportunity for graduates to showcase their talents. This is also a platform for young artists to interact and stimulate their innovative ideas, at the same time, assist in the building up of international arts and cultural exchange channel to enhance Macau in becoming the Art Capital for young artists. “Y Show” invites well–known local and international design specialists as the assessment committee to select ten Outstanding Awards as recognition to the graduates for their efforts.

Besides, the fourth “Y Show”, with newly introduction of business and commercial elements into the event, this introduction aims to provide employment opportunities for young talents and also to provide a broader connection platform for entrepreneurs to engage with the emerging and traditional commercial industries, so as to foster moderate economic diversification.

The 3rd 6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair

Macau is characterised by its vibrancy and uniqueness. The intersection of the Chinese and Western cultures sharps the city spirit of innovation and cultural diversity. Fusion of art and diversified development of different industries accelerate and sustain the cultural development in Macau SAR.

 

The first and second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair”, which took place in parallel with the auction of Poly Auction Macau, was successfully held at Regency Art Hotel in January and November 2016. The fair presents works by 60 young and talented artists from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and abroad, who were born after 1975, It aims to support the development of creative industries of Macau, bringing creativity into the homely hotel rooms. The attempt to introduce the hotel art fair in Macau achieved satisfying sales result and attracted a remarkable number of visitors including collectors and art lovers. Meanwhile, the fair also collaborates with Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation presenting the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation Art Award in support of emerging artists.

 

The third “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” is set to open on 11 to 14 October 2018 in parallel with “Y Show”. “Y Show” is the First Macau Art Graduates Joint Exhibition aiming to provide an opportunity for graduates to showcase their talents. These two events together will attract art lovers, collectors, entrepreneurs.

The Incredible Art Exhibition of Meitu A.I. ArtBot – Andy

Chiu Yeng Culture Limited (“Chiu Yeng Culture”), Meitu Inc. and JA Avenue are set to present their inaugural collaboration “The Incredible Art Exhibition of Meitu A.I. ArtBot – Andy” in JA Avenue from 22nd January to 11th February 2018. This exhibition will be showcasing the artificial intelligence (“A.I.”) painting android (Andy) which was researched and developed by Meitu Lab. Users can ultimately experience the latest A.I. technology from China through the arts and cultural platform introduced by Chiu Yeng Culture as well as the newest cosmetic landmark in Macau – JA Avenue. This newly innovated exhibition is the first overseas A.I. painting android exhibition organised by Meitu which opens up an opportunity for Macau citizens to recognize the potential on the diverse development of future A.I..

The Second “Y Show” Macau Art Graduates Joint Exhibition

“Y Show”, the Macau Art Graduates Joint Exhibition, is organised by Chiu Yeng Culture Limited (“Chiu Yeng Culture”) and co-organised by Chiii Design Ltd. (“Chiii Design”). It displays a collection of works from local and overseas art graduates and aims to provide an opportunity for graduates to showcase their talents. This is also a platform for young artists to interact and stimulate their innovative ideas, at the same time, assist in the building up of international arts and cultural exchange channel to enhance Macau in becoming the Art Capital for young artists. “Y Show” invites famous designers as the assessment committee to select the ten Outstanding Awards as recognition to the graduates for their efforts. Besides, the second “Y Show” will bring in educational elements and organise a series of creative design courses – “Y Class” in which renowned design specialists from Asia and local are invited to be the course instructors so as to coordinate with the Talent Development Policy in Macau and assist in promotion of local creative education.

The Second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair”

“6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” is the first art fair in Macau showcasing art works in hotel rooms. It aims to promote tourism and support the development of creative industries, bringing creativity into the homely hotel rooms. The second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” will be held from 24th to 27th November 2016, featuring 60 young artists from local and overseas who were born after 1975. These artists will ignite the vitality of each hotel room by presenting their unique solo projects. By exhibiting art works of emerging talents and collaborating with celebrated galleries, art organizations, as well as veteran curators and art critics, the second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” takes place in Regency Art Hotel Macau and offers a platform for cultural exchange and connect collectors with art pieces of great potential.

 

 

The first “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” was successfully held from 7th to 10th January 2016. The fair presented art works by 60 young and talented artists from Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China, who were born after 1975; blending their creativity and art works into 60 hotel rooms. The first attempt to introduce the hotel art fair in Macau achieved a satisfying sales result, with a total sale of 500 individual art works, and attracted a remarkable number of visitors including collectors and art enthusiasts. It has also contributed to the cultural arts development in Macau and provided an opportunity for young artists to showcase their talent.

 

 

The second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” a attracted 39 galleries and art organisations, 60 artists from a total of 7 countries and regions – Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, Myanmar, and Malaysia – to bring their best selected art works and integrate with the hotel rooms. This brings in an innovative way of displaying art through which audience can appreciate in varied angles and stimulate more imagination and emotions to enrich their experience at the art fair.

 

 

“6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” serves as a platform for international art exchange and sales, bringing a new platform for art display and sale for the cultural arts industry in Macau, and helps to shape a diversified and innovative atmosphere in Macau. This promotes the continuing cultural arts development of the Macao SAR government, and thereby motivates the development of local tourism, and enhances Macau in becoming the world’s young and dynamic Art Capital.

 

 

Apart from the main “6075” sector – 60 artists born after 1975, to continue the “Special Project” sector, the second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” will collaborate with the China Academy of Art this time presenting creative works by five young artists to encourage academic interaction. The fair is also generously supported by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau of Macao SAR who will introduce local outstanding young artists. The second “6075 Macau Hotel Art Fair” will launch a brand new sector – “Special Discovery” sector – dedicated to one specific form of art. The upcoming fair will showcase and explore new possibility of photography and video work by emerging artists. Meanwhile, the fair also collaborates with the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation presenting the “Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation Art Award” to select potential young artists with outstanding performance for supporting their future development and encourage future creation.
