Chiu Yeng Culture presents “【6075】Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation Art Award Ceremony” Support the art and cultural development of young artists

 (10th January 2016, Macau) On 10th January, Chiu Yeng Culture Limited (Chiu Yeng Culture) held the “【6075】Poly Macau Hotel Art Fair” celebration dinner at the Clube Militar de Macai Restaurante Sol Nascente with the presence of about 200 guests, youth artists and cultural art groups. The “【6075】Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation Art Award Ceremony”was also held during the event to award the outstanding artists in the Art Fair, so as to support and encourage the art and cultural development.

 

With the participation of 60 young artists born after 1975 from the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, the “【6075】Poly Macau Hotel Art Fair” was successfully held during 7th January to 10th January at the Regency Hotel Macau. The artists have been integrating their artworks and creative inspirations into the 60 guestrooms of the hotel, and each guestroom was personally designed by Ms. Sabrina Ho. To support and encourage the Hotel Art Fair’s participated artists, the assessment committee of the organizer has selected a total of three outstanding artists to be awarded with the “Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation Art Award” sponsored by the Dr. Stanley Ho Foundation. Ms. Tseng Shu-Fen, the Taiwan & Hong Kong area awarded artist, Mr. Mark Nader, the Mainland area awarded artist and Mr. Nick Tai, the Macau area awarded artist; all have been awarded with a certificate and cash prize of MOP 20,000 as to support and motivation for their future culture creative development. The awards were presented by Mr. Zhao Xu, Director of Poly Auction Macau, Ms. Su Mang, Chief Executive Officer of Trends Group, Ms. Angela Leong, Director of Poly Auction Macau, Mr. Wang DingQian, the famous collector, Ms. Sabrina Ho, Chairlady and Chief Executive Officer of Chiu Yeng Culture and Mr. Zeng Fanzhi, the famous artist.

 

A spectacular dancing performance and a charity auction were held during the event. The Chairlady and Chief Executive Officer of Chiu Yeng Culture, Ms. Sabrina Ho expressed during the dinner: “The Hotel Art Fair is the first artistic event organized by Chiu Yeng Culture and we have achieved a magnificent success with the support from the Macau SAR Government, local groups, schools and local citizens. The idea of this Hotel Art Fair is to build up an international arts exchange platform for young artists and to motivate the local cultural and arts development, while widening the artistic vision of local young artists. In the future, Chiu Yeng Culture will bring in more diversified culture events to Macau to explore the limitless possibilities in the area of arts in order to enrich the local cultural and arts development effectively.”

 

Chiu Yeng Culture has committed to become the most dynamic platform of arts and cultural exchange in Macau and to motivate local tourism and the development of cultural and creative industries. With the planning of holding and introducing more diversified cultural art events in the coming future, Chiu Yeng Culture initiates to promote the integration of arts into daily life, so as to reinforce the local cultural foundation and to build up the international cultural art exchange channel which enhance Macau becoming the world-renowned Art Capital of the East.
